:::: MERRY CHRISTMAS!::::

((((( CHRISTMAS IN KENTUCKY!)))))

We had a great Christmas here in Lex, Ky. The kids got ALL the wanted, and we had a great time. Pookie Bear is our family cat, and we love him so much! We always bake quiet a bit also and give out the goodies to friends! We truley enjoy doing that! Thanks MOM for passing on such a fun tradition!

Keila was in Salt Lake City for Christmas. She spent it with my family & friends and her dad and sisters. Here are a few pictures! #1 The beautiful Salt Lake Mountains, #2 Keila & Grammy, My mom, #3 Keila & Kennedy, One of my Best Friend Kellis Adorable Baby # 4 Keila & One of my best friends kids, Leinati. Keila, KJ, Renasia (RIP), Kita, Renati. #5 This is Keila & Her baby sisters that live in Salt Lake City. Kya & Iry. She adores them!

Last but not least. After Keilas trip, she was beyond ready to come home. Being a 14 year old girl, away from her friends and mom for 10 days, was the longest ever to her. Needless to say, she had a great time, but was ready to get home. We had her a suprise Welcome Home party, just her and her friends. We all had a great time! We missed her TONS!

{ { THANKSGIVING 08' } }

We had one of the BEST Thanksgiving's this year that we have had in ALONG time! My cousin Tracy drove from Iowa with her 2 kids, Rylee & Gavin, and her daycare baby Gee Gee. We had a great time! I was so glad to have some family here for a holiday! We went to see the Kentucky Horse Park, they have a HUGE light display for Christmas, and we also did some sight seeing downtown.

I kept complaining about the COLD because anyone that knows me, knows I HATE THE COLD, but Tracy kept reminding me that this is NOT cold compared to Iowa, so I know she is right, LOL. We had a great time, and are looking forward to the next holiday we get to spend together!

:::PACKERS:::

..:::IDLE HOUR PACKERS:::..

As some of you might know.. Damond has been in football and Damia has been cheering for his team... THE IDLE HOUR PACKERS! Idle hour is a league here that is brought on by Lexington's Parks & Rec Division. This has simply been one of the BEST expirences for them, and they have enjoyed it SO MUCH!

Damond is a "BLOCKER" and thats all I know! LOL.. I am totally football illiterate but with this whole expirence, I AM LEARNING! Damond will play for Parks & Rec for one more year, and in 7th grade in Jr.High he will play for the school. He totally loves football and hasen't complained or whined about ANYTHING. They practice 3-4 days a week, rain or shine, freezing, or in the dark. He loves it! This is Damond and one of his Friends, Kimball. They went against each other and the Packers WON! And this is the PROUD MOMMA!

Damond had some of the BEST COACHES around! They were so patient, and over all did a wonderful job with these boys!

Damia TOTALLY enjoyed herself during the cheerleading season! She had some of her best friends on her team, which made it that much more enjoyable! They worked LONG and hard on their routines, and at the end of the season they got to perform in a "Showcase" and they did WONDERFUL! Damia's Coach, "Coach Erica" Was wonderful, along with Cleo & Tanya who helped the girls as well, they tought them some fun cheers as well as the dances in the video below for the showcase.

This is just a few of the Loyal FANS that showed up to be a part of the twins games!

HERE IS DAMIA & THE REST OF THE IDOL HOUR GIRL PACKER CHEERLEADERS @ THE SHOWCASE THEY PERFORMED IT!! THEY ROCKED IT!!! WE ARE SO PROUD OF YOU ALL!

Halloween 2008

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

As for Halloween, This is my least favorite holiday.. BUT...I let the kids be kids. This year Keila went with her friends and trick or treated, prob for the last time, and then after that they went to a Highschool Football game. Here Are a few pix of some of her and her close friends.

This is me & Keila before she was OFF with her friends!
The twins and I always go to the same place, JUST so they can see Michael Myers.. This year he was so polite as to take a picture with us! He usually lays in his yard and jumps up when all the kids come for candy, or just sits up and LOOKS @ them, and scares them TO DEATH! LOLOL.. We had a ball..This is me & Leiland. He works at Champ's with me.. His costume was the CRAZIEST thing I have ever seen! LOLOL.. He was HILLARIOUS!!!!
All and ALL, we had a great time! As for me.. One HOLIDAY out of the way 3 more to GO!=)

Questapalooza & Kirk Franklin!!!

Everyone around the city was wondering what in the WORLD did everyone in the city have www.qpza.com written on their cars for?? EVERYONE... I had it on my car, 2-3 months before QUESTAPALOOZA even happined. Just for the heads UP, Questapalooza is a HUGE party my church throws for the ENTIRE city! Its to welcome everyone!
We didn't get to go last year, but this year when I found out who the HEAD ARTIST was going to be... I DEFFFFFFFF GOT TICKETS!

I also signed me & Keila up to do face painting, It was AWESOME! Here we are, doin our thing! And I might say myself, We BOTH did a pretty good job!

So Kirk Franklin Came, and for those that don't know, hes the # 1 Gospel singer in AMERICA! My all time favorite is Deitrick Haddon! Hes the SHIZZZZZZZZZZZZ!=) But Kirk is my #2 Favorite! He was AWESOME in concert! He lifted the crowd like I have never seen before! He spoke to the young kids, the single mothers, the single women, the couples, He was wonderful! What a unbelieveable expirence.

Just to see Kirk speaking to the kids the way he did, was remarkable in itself! They were so pumped UP and had so much fun! I am so glad we got to be a part of this event!
For more info on my church, you can go to www.questcommunity.com. You can watch church LIVE ONLINE every wknd from around the WORLD! This church has honestly saved my life! Check it out! The kids love it as well!

Damond AKA "Man Man"

This would be The Monster Man... Aka Damond...

Damond is 10 now, and loves FOOTBALL, Wrestling, Video Games, and to hang out with his friends! Don't forget he loves skating too! He's one of the fastest backward skater's @ Champ's.

Damond likes school, but I wouldn't say he loves it! lol.He's in 5th grade now, next year will be Jr.High! Hard to believe! He's doing great for being raised in a house full of girls! Any time he can get away to hang out with friends, he will do it!.

He loved wrestling when Bobby (my sisters boyfriend) came from Salt Lake City. He couldn't get enough! Damond's not too much into girls yet, which is OK with me! I think it will come SOON ENOUGH!=)

Damia Aka MiMi AKA Mini Me...=)

This is Mimi and some of her friends!

She is such a cutie, just like her brother and sister, and I can honestly say she is the most independent child I have. She does everything on her own, and wants no part of directions, or being told what to do.

She is very close with her brother and sister, but at the same time depends on them for NOTHING. lol

Damia loves to skate, cheer, listen to music, read and she loves school. Damia loves spending time with her friends more than anything. Her favorite color is PURPLE, and she LOVES Hannah Montanna..Some of her best friends are Breezy, Tyrin, & Carlisa, And Many many More...

Damia is 10 now, and in the 5th Grade! It's hard to believe that next year she will be in Jr.High! Like WHOA! She loves school, and her teacher!

Princess Keila Bee... Highschool HERE WE COME!

She's Not A Baby Anymore....

Yes SIRRRRRRR.. You know it's true... Princess Keila Bee is in highschool now! I know, hard to believe.. She is 14 now!

This picture was taken when Angie, Bobby & Grammy came in Aug 08 from Salt Lake City.. Keila is great with the computer and finds way to modify pix that are outta this world! Shes a very talented young lady. Shes great with HTML also, as well as being very creative!

Keila's MAIN thing in life @ this present time is HERSELF & HER FRIENDS!. She's a huge girly girl, and she just loves hanging out with her friends! She is a picture FANATIC & Loves to skate at Champ's!

Keila LOVE'S highschool, and she Loves her friends! She's a very popular girl, and believe it or not, she's a great kid. We have had a few up's and down's, but all in all, she's great! She's defenately NOTHING like I was at her age, but at the same time, she is FOR SURE acting 14!=)

This would be 8th Grade Graduation... 50$ Dress wore ONE TIME, 20$ Shoes wore ONE TIME, Dinner with friends, Rental SUV to fit everyone... PRICELESS!!!!!!!!!!!

Gatlinburg 08

We had a BLAST!!!

First and formost, Mom, Angie & Bobby flew to Lexington on Aug 12th for my bday and for us to take a trip to Gatlinburg, Tn. This Gatlinburg was moms treat! Thanks Again!

The drive was simply beautiful. It wasen't nearly as long as I anticipated, and after 3 hours we pulled up to a HUGE 5 Bedroom cabin. It was simply breathtaking!

Besides the cabin being HUGE and Fully equiped with everything imaginable, the view outside was unbelievable!

Bobby and Damond couldn't wrestle ENUFF! Damond has been raised in a house full of girls, so when he gets the chance to wrestle with someone, he FOR SURE takes it! LOL.

Besides getting to hang with the Fam, the best part was the downstairs which was a totally equiped game room! Pool, Fooze Ball (maybe spelling error?LOL), ping pong, air hockey, And the list goes on.. We had a great time, and hope to do it again SOON!

Salt Lake City In The House!!

Some of you may know I went to visit Salt Lake City in July 2008. I had a great time hanging out with friends and family. This is a updated picture of me, mom & Angie. We have both outgrown mom by a TON, which as short as she is, It's not hard to do! lol.I had a great time out there, and hope to visit again SOON!

I also visited my best friend, KELLI. She was 8 months pregnant at the time and on Aug 6th she gave birth to a beautiful baby girl named Kennedy Cristi Hawkins. Here she is lookin as adorable as ever! I got the priveledge of suprising Kelli for her babyshower. We had a BLAST! It was great to just catch up and hang out like our favorite past time!

Champs...We Love It!

Another part of our life is CHAMPS...For those that don't know, I have a 2nd job working at CHAMPS on the weekend, every sat. This job came into play in Aug 2007. Champs has been the local rollerskating rink in Lexington, KY for EVER! They built a brand new one out by our house, and I got hired to work in the restaurant which has been nothing but FUN! As most of you know, I LOVE KIDS, and this job couldn't be better. When I got hired, I had no idea the kids could go to work with me for FREE, and as you might know, they Love it as much as me! And YES I have gotten back on skates, But just a lil bit. If I fall and break something, the whole house is OUTTA WORK, and would have NO INCOME, so I have to be very careful!
The kids LOVE to skate, they each have their own skates and are some of the best skaters around! This is Keila & Some of her friends @ Champs!

How is Kentucky???

WELCOME TO KENTUCKY!!!

As most of you know, The kids and I moved back to KY in 2005. We have been nothing but blessed sense we got back here. Ofcourse there have been trying times, but all in all, we have been so fortunate to have things turn out the way they have.

When we first got back here 4th of July 2005, we were greeted with open arms from friends and people that are like family to us, that we missed dearly while we were gone. It was wonderful. The kids and I stayed with the twins granny for 30 days, until we found a place. That was the most trying time we had. I had little or next to NO $, and NO car, And the kids hadn't gotten used to being back here yet. No friends, etc. This was all soon to change.=)

On Aug 5th, We moved into our own place, a 3 bedroom duplex. The kids started school, and soon started making friends. Keila was in 6th grade, and the twins were in 3rd grade.Keila made it threw 6th grade, making TONS of friends. Now we live in a 4 bedroom townhouse and love it!

I was blessed to be able to get a job to start talking care of a lady that had a stroke. Oct 2005 was when I began taking care of her. She is something else, I tell ya! Marge is her name, and I love her so much! She has taught me so much! I am blessed to be able to have such a wonderful job, and to be a part of her life!

Another thing about KENTUCKY... Are the WILDCATS! Everyone here are CRAZYYYYY Wildcat fans! You have NO CHOICE! We are DIE HARD UK FANS!
